Providing quality before and after school, as well as holiday care for children, Junior Adventures Group operates in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Currently working with 1000+ primary schools globally, Junior Adventures Group services 80,000 families with over 40,000 children in care each day.

The Opportunity

Our interest in JAG was piqued by the Company’s potential for growth and its position as a quality leader in the outside school hours care (OSHC) market. At the time of Advent’s investment, the Australian OSHC industry was still in its infancy but was poised to follow the same growth trajectory as long day care (LDC). We felt that there was a significant opportunity to expand quickly through enhancing JAG’s marketing capability, focusing on underpenetrated geographies, and building out resources to establish an efficient operational rhythm.

How We Help

Advent’s investment, made in September 2015, enabled Junior Adventures Group to make several acquisitions to establish itself as a national business. It’s since expanded into the UK, New Zealand, South Africa and a handful of other countries through several acquisitions. Employing over 5,000 staff, JAG is now the largest OSHC player globally.
