Established in 2008, Imaging Associates Group (IAG) is an independent diagnostic imaging provider which is owned and operated by a team of ~20 radiologists. IAG operates across five private practices and holds two large hospital reporting contracts with Eastern Health at Box Hill, VIC and Murrumbidgee Local Health District at Wagga Wagga, NSW. The Business has 50+ core reporting doctors (incl. locums and casuals), and has established private practices in Box Hill, Mitcham, Tecoma and Baw Baw in Victoria, and Wagga Wagga in New South Wales.
The Opportunity
Diagnostic imaging forms a critical part of the healthcare industry and plays a key role in diagnosing patient conditions. IAG, along with its young and highly specialised radiologist group, is well-placed to capitalise on this industry thematic as it targets growth through increasing the geographical reach of its private practice and hospital reporting network, selectively acquiring smaller high-quality practices with culturally aligned radiologists, and undertaking specific operational initiatives to increase earnings.
How We Help
We believe that IAG has a large organic and inorganic growth opportunity and are working with Management to accelerate its growth by focusing on key strategic levers including targeted private practice site selection, culturally aligned acquisition opportunities, and streamlining IAGs operations utilising best-of-breed software to improve efficiency.
