For over twenty years, I have worked with founders and management teams to build and grow great Australian and New Zealand companies around the world. While at Advent, I have had the privilege of working with exceptional teams at Social Pinpoint, RMS Cloud, Integrated Control Technology, Zero Latency VR, Flintfox and Frosty Boy.
I lead Advent’s responsible investing and ESG initiatives. We grow sustainable businesses that excel as employers and corporate citizens, aiming for long-term performance that benefits all stakeholders-employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders and society.
I started my career at KPMG in restructuring and insolvency, where I gained a deep understanding of business success and failure. Then my first private equity experience was with KPMG’s M&A team. In 2007, I joined Advent, drawn to an experienced firm and talented team with a great culture and mission.
I am very active outside work with a loving wife and young family, and most weekends, you’ll find me with them or trail running and climbing mountains (for fun). I also (try to) find balance in my life through meditation and practicing Stoicism.
