Advent’s value add on the SILK journey


Advent helped set the business up for success through aligning objectives and goals with the management team. Structure was introduced to our decision-making process and reporting processes. We created and implemented our business plan and executed our growth strategy. We also conducted demographic analysis for network planning. It was a collaborative approach, and we felt extremely supported throughout the journey. I always felt like I could pick up the phone to bounce ideas or receive support when needed. Advent were also instrumental during the tough times and helped us navigate through to the other side. For example, during the COVID lockdown in Australia, when we had to stand down 500 staff, negotiate with 50 landlords, as well as suppliers, Advent went into support mode with daily board meetings to guide us through what was the company’s toughest period. I really enjoyed partnering with Advent, and it has been a great journey.
